We hold the sessions in Long Eaton Community Garden on Norfolk Road Recreation Ground. 

 

We also use the park for den building, tree climbing, exploring, games and foraging. 

 

We have use of the garden’s compost loo and access to fresh drinking water. The garden is wheelchair-friendly with well established paths and a ramp up to the compost loo. 

 

There are facilities to make a hot drink and have shelter.

Pre-schoolers can join us on Friday mornings for a relaxed exploration of our natural garden and woodland surroundings. We have two groups: Alder and Beech, each can take a maximum of 7 families.

For home schooling  families, there is the option to come twice a month or monthly. It's a perfect environment to nurture your child's sense of adventure and curiosity. There are seasonal activities and skills  teaching alongside exploration and campfire cooking. the capacity will be 5-6 families per session.
